Autumnal

Oh, it’s just around the corner! Autumn is easing into our neck of the woods, or as I like to call it “goodbye air conditioning, hello open-window weather”! I love every season for different reasons. I embrace the change but I don’t like to rush it. So, as we slowly transition from summer to fall, I’ll begin to share some autumnal moments, as we say farewell to summertime.

When your flowers match your veggies!

Autumnal colors found in nature, these pics were taken on two different days, totally randomly and not planned to coordinate. These purple and orange zinnias are gorgeous!

How beautiful are these purple and orange sweet potatoes!? I cut these in half, tossed with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, maple syrup, cinnamon, corn starch and fresh rosemary, then roasted them at 425 degrees for about 30 minutes (flipping once at 15 minutes).
