Food - Granola
Once you make this super easy batch, you’ll be ruined for store-bought granola. It’s fresher and less expensive.
homemade
I wish you could smell this while its baking! It makes your whole house smell so good!
ingredients (any amount you like)
any kind of nut you like…I used what I had in the pantry…pistachios, cashews, pecans, sliced almonds
any kind of seed…I had pumpkin and sunflower nuts
oats
coconut flakes
cinnamon & nutmeg
sea salt
coconut oil
maple syrup
pour all ingredients into a large bowl and stir to combine
spread onto a parchment-lined rimmed cookie sheet
bake at 350 degrees for about 10-15 minutes
place sheet on cooling rack & let cool completely before storing
store in airtight container for a few days (ours usually doesn’t last more than a couple of days ;) )
very versatile
This is my favorite way to eat granola. Simply spoon your favorite yogurt into a bowl, sprinkle with any kind of fruit (I chose apple this time because it’s in season), and drizzle with honey.
I love just having the granola as a little snack and munch it by the handful!
I’ve also enjoyed it as a cereal with milk and topped with fruit, like bananas or blueberries.
